Catechetical
Program for Youth: The mission of
the church to share the gospel with our youth is answered through
the Religious Education (CCD) programs of the parish. The
mission of the Catechetical Program of Our Lady Help of Christians
Parish is to provide our children with the knowledge, experience, and
skills necessary to develop and nurture their personal relationship with
God. The program will encourage the children to learn Catholic doctrine,
prayers, scripture stories, traditions and practices in order to acquire
a Catholic identity. The program will strive to connect the teachings of
Christ and the Church with the students’ life experience in living out
the Christian life. Mrs. Kathy White is our Director of Religious
Education and we have classes for pre-K thru 12 on Sunday mornings and
Monday afternoons and evenings.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults:
Adults who wish
to know more about the Catholic faith can join the Rite
of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) which starts in
September and runs through the following Easter. Active parish
members are needed in this program to walk with the catechumens
in a sponsoring role.
Bible Study: Our adult education
offers a Bible Study Group which meets on the 1st and 3rd
Thursdays of each month at 7:00pm.
Youth Group:
OLHC also has an active Youth Group directed by Joe Meszaros,
which meets on Sunday evenings, three times monthly.
